HMC construction Ltd and Sprung formed an unlikely partnership in December 2019. We were invited to bid for an unconventional build in Christchurch’s beautiful Rawhiti Domain.
A Sprung Open Air Roof Structure was to be built over a multi purpose sports surface for The Eastern Sports Trust.
HMC construction were forced to be bold and innovative as Covid-19 and the associated lockdown came into effect in early 2020.
Despite enduring multiple disruptions at different stages we were able to deliver the Eastern Sports Trust with a 2000m2 Sprung tensioned membrane covered roof structure in 32 days.
Offering multiple different use options HMC believes this product to be a game changer.
